TERRA VIVA is a five piece band based in South East London born to discover its Italian roots and mixing their unique sound with a London twist. The social and political topics touched by their lyrics are delivered by their music aimed to make you dance with infectious grooves that span from gipsy to Italian folk, from jazz to rock and world music.
With Angelina Luzi on voice, Devid Dell’ Aiera on bass, Alessandro Gugel on guitar, Alex Paton on trumpet, mandolin, bouzouki and Matteo Ricordo on drums, TERRA VIVA’s music is an exciting melting pot of their diverse musical backgrounds which include collaboration with the likes of Dan Aykroyd of the Blues Brothers, Peter Green, Matthew Herbert and Eska Mtungwazi to name a few.
After their EP launch at Hootananny Brixton and the release of their new single ‘One too Many’ on July 7th 2018 and celebrated at Lewisham People’s Day festival with TERRA VIVA headlining the Little Big Top stage.
TERRA VIVA is currently gigging in the London music scene, they are preparing for the festival season, already booked for BOOMTOWN 2019 and are currently recording their debut album due to be released in late 2019.
